They say it's likely due to the RAM shortage; but that doesn't make sense to me why folk are not upgrading to Windows 11. Seems to me that it's a testament to how bad Windows 11 really is. And they know it.
Some people are able to ignore all the bad things about windows 11 and really it does look pretty good and does the tasks well. really the reasons I don't like it is the excessive update sizes, fake hardware requirements (Only business needs BitLocker and TPM), and the ads/tracking etc, I just feel they either need to stop charging people for it, or stop making it feel like a free product with ads. Either way, I am sticking with Windows 10 LTSC IoT until 2032 and will be spending 90% of my time in Linux. The few times people have brought in Windows 11 for me to fix, I just get it working, I don't run LLStore or tweak it in any way, I wont clean up after MS with Windows 11, not when I know the next update it'll all be exactly how they want it again.
Yeah it is, I've just had my old boss say that he is wanting me to install Linux on his main desktop because this is the 3rd time in 6 months that his PC has failed to boot after an update and he isn't even able to enter the recovery menu to restore a system snapshot it's that broken.
