Ok shared, you should be able to install the new Tweaks Context Menu LLApp and get the new features mentioned. Including a - = System Information = - that shows up when you right click the Desktop, quite handy as right clicking the computer Icon and pressing properties is more than useless and I wasn't able to hook the menu to make changes myself, even with AI.
Spent the day updating the LLScript.sh and LLScript_Sudo.sh to me more robust, I also installed all the Main DIstro's to test how LLStore was going. Apart from OpenSUSE still needing to turn off some security to even install the LLStore, it worked perfect in every distro. I fixed the Flatpak installer so it now waits before installing the next item and it even shows a new terminal on every OS, not just the Debian, Fedora and Arch bases like it used to.
I've uploaded the new LLStore and it contains the new Templates if you want a look, the goal was to make sure it all worked on any Distro still as all the Security enhancements hadn't been tested yet, now it has
AI was getting lost down a rabbit hole trying to fix the Desktop being detected wrong for the sudo script, so after it kept making it bigger and bigger I had a better idea and made it just write them before you run the script and read them in the script to make them known, quite a basic fix really
"right clicking the computer Icon and pressing properties is more than useless" yep, just the other day I booted laptop with your linux and wanted to check the distro and right click on Computer is so useless
That "Open item location" I also use frequently and remember looking for it in vain on Linux. Those are very useful fixes
I found Trouba. He is mentally burnt out, but when he recovers he said he'll come take a look at what lastos is doing. I am relieved to hear from him at all as after what 2026 has been so far, you never know.
Just got Claude to rewrite my AutoIt Sanitizer using built in Linux tools, so a bash script and sed/awk etc, it can now clean the file names without running wine at all.
LLStore v10 is out, I spent over 30 hours optimising it and fixing bugs, after a little hiccup with the version checking routine, I've got it going, tested in Linux and Windows, seems ok and zippy.
1:44am birthday build with it available. Just has updates, new store and one glitch in the context menu (has extra Sanitize and 2 external LLStore shortcuts that aren't needed. but all good apart from that.
Ahhh claude.ai is down today, I was busy updating my context menu scripts. hope it comes back soon. The one I uploaded has some new features, but not all
Well that worked out well, I just got google gemini to help me finish what I then claude started, I've added a v2 of the Size getting script that will download the package sizes of flatpaks and system packages (without their dependencies though) so it gives you the install size for all Items. Anyway I got the job complete, it's being tested now.
Well pitty I didn't have this script built and working before I re-did the repository a couple of days ago, now I'll need to update a bunch of them, but that doesn't matter because at that stage I didn't have my Update LLScript tool and that works great too, I'll run the metadata and missing screenshot icon scripts and get them fully done, so they are finally to the level they need to be, then I'll see about adding an uninstall option to LLStore, because it would be nice to have a GUI for users to do that task if they so choose. as it is they have to navigate to the ~/LLGames/... fodler and manually run uninstall.sh from the games folder to get rid of it.
Claude is back baby, now it does debs and it gets the package size if it's install on the PC, so the actual size!, much better than the online size of file
like before
