The Kernel and Driver don't seem to have changed much, but I assume some optimisations would have been added, plus my hardware is older now, so maybe I wouldn't even notice.
Well I think I've figured it out, you need to go to terminal and run "flatpak update" for the new Graphics Runtimes to be downloaded for the new kernel, like I said, v6.14 to .17 is actually 8 months or more of updates. So when I ran the update I have 830mb+ to get, will see how it goes
It's still not working, Penguins Eggs has changed a build path, I have updated the scripts but I can't upload to github until flatpaks are working, I may need to downgrade the kernel as this bug seems annoying
Well a reboot fixed it, turns out if you run with Advanced menu and then reboot, it sometimes doesn't revert properly, anyway, I am all good again. just doing a new build now and will test and upload if all good
New LastOSLinux ISO uploading now, it has a new Kernel, so if you install on newer hardware, more will be supported or run better. No need to re-install your existing PC's as they will update from the System Tray. But you will have to force a full update the LLStore to get the new Games Repository (Explained here: https://www.lastos.net/forum/index....x-latest-public-iso-download.2454/#post-27059)
I have not set auto delete old backup yet , just get a backup every few days that is solid and dlete all but the current 7 days or so to keep that managed as I am not thinking about the buckups of here .
Been away from home, in my spare time I've been sorting Old Android 4.4 Games for the 7 Tablets I've collected over the week. Just going through making sure they are all working and fun. I really don't understand why they keep getting thrown away, they still have 2 1/2+ hours of battery and the games are very good quality. Like the cheap tablets I can understand they are garbage when they are made, but these are Samsung Galaxy Tab 3's and 4's. I mean I grew up with Atari and the Hand Held were one game, black and white and they kept me amused. How can parent's think these are garbage. My Collection of iPads is well over 35 now and they are far from rubbish, I have iPad Air's one Pro and from Gen 1 to Gen 6, some are 256gb space. It honestly makes me sick to see how much waste there is now days. Screens are another thing, people upgrade their screens and TV's and throw perfectly working ones out... I mean WTH, some of them are 32 and 27", no 4K yet, but back when I grew up with a 4x3 14" CRT, I only dreamed...
Don't get me started on the Laptops I've found. 2019 and 2020 Yogo Books with 256gb M.2 and 8GB RAM, a few keys don't work but so what, it is touch screen and has a OSK if needed.
I'm now running a iPhone 12 256gb phone that was dumped in the bins and rained on. lucky it's waterproof. but who throws it out.. it was Find My iDevice locked, but had no passcode, so I got their email address and asked if they wanted it back or if they could sign in and remove the device. they got back to me hours later and said, not a problem and now I know I hate apple phones, but I keep using it anyway Android is what I am used to.
