Do you think you will make the change?
If not, then why not?
Is there something holding you back?
Is there some software that is not available in Linux yet, its just a matter of time as developers make the transistion.

I am responding as I have read others saying why they tried and failed:

Hardware not working and drivers not making sense or the online fixes found not working for them.

Figuring out how to make the apps they already use work through WINE doesn't always work and they can't live without certain apps/tools they use.

No Microsoft Office 365 - You can run the online one, but it isn't able to do the advanced features so may not be suitable, The Office 2010 and 2007 run fine in Wine and are included in LLStore, I prefer to use OpenOffice or Google Docs, so this isn't an issue for my simple use cases.

No Adobe CC- I made Adobe Photoshop 2019 run pretty much perfect in Wine 11 - since the release of Mint 22.3 Public release, It requires a 3D card, but so does Windows for later versions. I also managed to get Lightroom 10.0.0.0 to run from LLStore's install, it doesn't run as fast as in Windows, but you can use it if your patient with it. Another alternative is use PhotoPea (online with a free option) or Affinity Photo - this is now free and runs under Wine 11 really well, just install from LLStore.

---------------

Now as myself, I have pushed through the learning curve and when a problem arises, I know I have a TimeShift backup I can restore to if I really mess things up where it can't boot or something breaks. There are certain tools I require that are Windows only that I dual boot into, I have personally had a windows update remove grub, but it was just a matter of booting to a Live Linux OS from my USB and I ran bootfix (included in LastOS) to rebuild it. It's all a bit of work, but learning something new that is so powerful can't be achieved in a few days of using it, it took me a few months to be comfortable with using it daily as I learned the quirks Linux has, such as the USB Write Cache, which needs to empty before you remove your USB disk or the data isn't written - different from windows where I used to just yank it out when the File Progress got to 100%. The other Issue I had was during a desktop crash attempting to run a WINE game that wasn't compatible. This locked the OS and when I rebooted it had made the NTFS drive marked Dirty and it wasn't able to be mounted, this is why I made Check Disk NTFS to fix any errors and make it mountable again in Linux (if it were a bootable USB that was corrupted then it also makes it unbootable until it's scanned/cleaned). If it were a FAT32 or ExFAT disk then you can use the built in Gnome Disks and press the Run button for the bad disk and press "Repair Filesystem", this will clear the dirty bit and fix and cross linked files etc, making it writable again as Linux will only mount as Read Only in this case.

Make sure you learn that .File and .Folders are hidden unless you have pressed Ctrl + H to show hidden files. This one is important as many of the settings and configs you need are in the ~/.local and ~/.config folders.

I've found other little glitches and issues:

Windows .ico files often render as garbled colors and not the actual image in the Nemo File Manager.

After 1 hour when the Magnetic HDD goes to sleep the whole Desktop will stop responding until the disk wakes up if you try to access it again.

Cinnamon Desktop Icons get messed up real fast unless you auto Align them, but this sorts alphabetical which is a change to my workflow, but it's ok.

I may edit this post, I just got back from being out and need to eat my dinner.
