Option For future Releases?

I have just built myself a new version of LastOSLinux today as the updates exceeded 1GB post install, so I decided to just make fresh ones, everything else is the same, now my question is, should I share both the 4.8GB and the 15+GB versions or does nobody really want the fresh releases and only when I have time to make new features? I don't mind sharing them, but don't want to waste my time/bandwidth if people are happy to do the updates post install anyway.

I'll be building a Win 10 and 11 update today as well, I think we are past enough of the bad decisions by Microsoft with them bricking peoples installs, so maybe a fresh base is just the thing I need, as I am sick of waiting for the 1.2GB+ to download for Windows 10 and 1.8gb+ for Windows 11. so it makes sense to try and see.

Before I can build the windows builds, I'll have to update the included apps (Chrome etc), so I'll use my own and Freezers work as he's been sharing a few updated apps that I've been collecting. I'll also renew the hosts files as there 3 months old also, I've noticed more and more ads slipping through the websites.

So my question is, what are people still using and what do they need?
 
Bad news, Windows 11 25H2 with the latest updates doesn't allow me to build the OS the way I was, no doubt I could get it working again if I re-enable the security, but really, I am not going to! the fact they block yet another thing I want, just means you are better with a Vanilla Windows 11 and using Chris Titus Tool to debloat and remove AI stuff etc. there is very little reason to use LastOS based installers when the only difference is the same stuff you can get from LLStore. I am going to exclude Windows 11 from my own collection and just use MasGrave 25H2 ISO, as I am only using Windows 10 and Linux, I just don't want to ever touch Windows 11 ever again. I just can't bring myself to waste another whole day making it work when I know that it'll happen again and again.

So from what I can tell, I just can't provide anything useful to the community anymore, I am too set in my ways and it's not a fight I want to be part of. I've been through too much over the last couple of months and I just thought a relaxing time making some updated builds was just what I needed. Instead, I have two OS's no-one really wants, except to tinker with.

Ah well it looks like SteamOS will take over the Linux side and Win 11 will give those users what they need. I have become obsoleted. Thanks for your time. Sorry I can't help.
 
Thank you for trying. I've just gotten so used to your way of handling windows over the years. i don't think i'm ready for linux as of yet, so i'll probably go back to your win10 version
 
The issue with Windows 11 isn't the OS itself, it is using the Windows 10 PE to install it, I am able to boot the Win 11 VM with the sysprep image without an issue, but if I then capture and install it with Win 10 PE it then gets a boot error code just after the Win Logo is shown. I'll attempt another capture today and see if it was a fluke/fail, but my guess is MS updated it to no longer support being installed with anything other than Win 11 installers.
 
Well that was a different result. I'll upload the Windows 11 ISO, then Win 10 then Linux. They are all working.

To be clear, I only updated the apps and applied the OS Updates, nothing else has changed. this is to just save the time post install needing to do the updates to the OS and Apps, nothing more. I was working on the FaceTagger before and have been catching up with the hardware I had to install to take back to sell, so I've not spent any time researching or modding, I am not sure I even will, the updated OS mods are better than vanilla and until I have different needs myself, I don't see why I'd include other peoples work like the ones mentioned above as I know from experience that side effects can occur with any tweak or mod, so you'd be better off using their tools that allow you to do system restores or revert changes than me hardcoding them into my OS's.

Using your latest release of LastOS Linux and LastOS11 dual boot. Everything is running faster on my gaming system than usual, which is a nice surprise. Also added Freezer's browser extensions and am quite happy.
