LLStore was created in Xojo, which is a cross platform IDE, this means you can use LLStore to install apps and games in Windows and Linux, it uses online repositories of both, only showing what is compatible with your current OS. LLStore was made to replace ssWPI as I wanted to make it simpler to update items in one place, although ssWPI will continue to work and is compatible with 32bit OS's where as LLStore is x64 only.
LLStore will update itself and check the online repositories for updates every time you run it (a 20 Minute delay between online DB checks as to not hammer my servers, it'll fall back to the pre-downloaded DB's)
What LLStore doesn't do it self update the apps/games it includes as many of them are not embedded in the system and run portable from ~/LLApps ~/LLGames ~/.wine/drive_c/ppApps and ppGames or even Program Files (it works with WINE installed apps and games). For any system integrated apps and games it will offer updates using the OS's updater and not something LLStore has to do/offer.
To Manually get the latest public LLStore you can visit:
Windows (or Linux, you just extract and run setup.cmd or setup.sh in Linux):
Linux SFX: (Right Click save as, once downloaded, right click, Properties and set it to Executable on the 2nd Tab (Permissions), near the bottom of the Properties Window, double click it to run and type password when asked).
To get the testing code: Visit the Repo and you can download the source, it contains the compiled executables, but you do manually have to make all the scripts etc executable, which is why I recommend the other methods.
