Greetings,
I haven't installed LastOS yet, just used the live CD via Ventoy, but I intend to. It passed my primary test with flying colours when I turned on my laser printer & found it had already installed the correct driver. Typical Ubuntu behaviour, but other systems (including Debian) only offer an incorrect driver, & if you manually add a driver they just have a filter failure. MX Linux works OK with it but I have other problems. LMDE also works with the printer, so I don't know where the problem is. Had no thumbnails on file icons which is a problem I've had before with Ubuntu & Mint, but as previously I just installed Thunar file manager & problem was fixed. I'm an Aussie, so I hope this project is a success...
